SLAVE RULES OF THE CITY OF RUINS
* These rules have been created for the express purpose of keeping the City a peaceful and enjoyable place to be; they are not intended to be overly restrictive, yet harmony cannot be maintained without rules to guide us. As in any situation, there are always exceptions to every rule.
Remember: Ignorance is NOT an excuse for improper behavior in Gor.

SLAVE RULES All slaves are to obey the Rules of the City of Ruins; the following rules provide a basic guide governing the specific conduct of slaves. These rules are subject to change without notice by either the Administrator, without consulting the slaves involved. Any incidents, of which a slave feels uneasy or unsure, that are not covered by these rules should be reported to either the first girl or the Administrator. Remember: Your collar carries the honor of your owner. Your attitude can make it light as a feather or as heavy as a mountain.
JEALOUSY: Jealousy will not be tolerated by any slave! Jealousy and possessiveness have killed more slaves than disobedience. It's important to remember the Master owns the slave. The slave does NOT own the Master. DISPUTES: It's important
to remember the first girl is here to help you with any problems
you may have especially in areas dealing with Masters etc. if
you are unsure of something. The correct way to go about addressing
the problem is to take it to the first girl, if she is not available
then take it to the second girl, etc. Masters are NOT interested
in dealing with slave disputes etc. So please don't go whining
to a Master at the slightest little problem you are having.
The first girl will decide if the problem needs to be taken
to a Master or dealt with in some other way. ORDERS: Any commands issued to a slave by her Master [his Mistress] take precedence over any other instructions given. A slave must work to obey her Master's every wish without hesitation, without question and with utmost devotion. If the orders given to a slave by any Freeperson contradict those issued by the slave's Owner, the slave should politely explain this, and refuse to comply. An Owner's orders automatically overrule those of other Freepersons, no matter who they are. If a slave can see that there is potential for a conflict s/he should politely inform the Freeperson in advance at the earliest opportunity. If any Owner wishes to give orders that conflict with Rules of the City, this should be cleared through the Administrator and/or Ruin City Council, with reasons given. HARASSMENT: Slaves subjected to any harassment while in
the City of Ruins are to inform a Leader or any other Free of
this City immediately. GREETINGS: All slaves will greet properly; if untrained, mistakes will be disregarded and/or helpfully corrected. WHISPERING: All slaves are required to beg permission in
open chat before whispering to any Free, except in the case
of emergency or harassment. Slaves may whisper to any other
slave without asking permission. SLAVE SPEECH: Slaves are permitted to speak in the first person, within the City of Ruins. BACK TALK: A slave may NOT argue with
a Freeperson. In any difference of opinion, a slave is always
permitted the last words, which are: "Yes Master, or "Yes,
Mistress." RESPECT: Slaves will show proper respect to all other slaves, whether visiting or of this City. While slaves of higher silk levels should be looked to for guidance, slaves will keep in mind that NO SLAVE IS OF GREATER WORTH THAN ANOTHER GREETING PANTHERS: It is proper to
address a Panther girl (PG) as in "Lowers eyes to the feet
of (Mistress or (PG)Panther 'Name") Greetings ..... welcome
to the City of Ruins." A slave may use the title "Panther
/ PG" before the name. BRB/AFK: If you need to be away from keyboard ask to be excused, or if it is a real-time urgency, type: brb 911 or EMG [if possible]. RETURNING FROM BRB/AFK: Always beg
permission to re-enter if you have been away from keyboard for
more than 15 minutes. If absence was less than 15 minutes, slave
may return with a post such as: *slips silently back into GZ*
or "quietly returns to Master's feet* This is a courtesy
and lets all know you have returned without disrupting any conversation. ORDERS TO LEAVE: When a Free person
tells you to leave the area, do so...do not question it...just
go...it is for your protection. EXITING: The right way to exit is to type it out, for example: [name]rises from the serving furs/Owner's feet and takes 3 steps back in respect, then walks through the doorway. Do NOT just poof, unless someone is trying to attack you. CAPTURES: If you are captured and re-ko'lared by a Free outside of the City of Ruins, you must obey Them while under Their ko'lar as you would obey your first Master/Mistress. If you are captured, you belong to the One who capped you, and your Owner has one week to reclaim His or Her property. Any slave who flees after being caught will be posted publicly as a runaway. As a runaway slave, you can be either summarily killed or returned to your Owner. A minimum of two (2) posts must be made when attempting to evade capture: the first post is to place distance between yourself and the One trying to capture you [such as dodging a net, or rolling aside, etc], and the second to leave the area. Running without posting allows the One attempting to cap you to still come after you and complete the capture. By law, a slave who escapes one who has captured her, is a runaway. Free women, captured but not yet enslaved,
may escape legally ABANDONMENT: All slaves here that
are property of the Free that reside in the ACR, are subject
to become the property of the City, if the Free happens to abandon
them for any reason. They will be otherwise sold or kept here
in the city. WEAPONS: Slaves are forbidden to touch any form of weapon, including implements of punishment. If ordered by her/his Master to fetch a whip, or similar item, s/he will carry it carefully in the mouth. By Gorean Law, the penalty for committing this offense is often death *Exception to this rule is if First Girl is given permission under special circumstances, for only the whip. Note: Ulos (kitchen knives) are not considered weapons in their everyday use, they will be at all times locked and chained to the wall. Understand it is not the "touching" of the weapon by a slave that is forbidden as much as the "intention" to use ANYTHING, known as a weapon or not, with threatening intent towards a Free Person or His property. SAME SEX SCENEING: There is no public same sex scening in the City of Ruins, that is ment for the privacy of private rooms! Public same sex scening of any overt sexual activity is not permitted, whether it be between free persons, slaves, or any combination thereof. Nothing herein is intended to restrict private, consensual activity in the alcoves of the city between adults. CYBER - CIDE: Slaves may not commit cyber-cide. In Gor slaves were watched closely at all times, if not by their Owner, other Free took notice of them. Therefore, entering an empty room and posting a cyber-cide will not be acknowledged. A slave would not have access to broken bowls, or glasses. Daggers are never just laying around and you are not fast enough to pull the weapon from a Master. So do not try it. PROVING FOODS / DRINKS:
There is no tasting of food or drink (tasting for poison is
an online Gorism ).
Participation in room discussions is pleasing, idle chit chat, complaining, and/or gossip is NOT.
Slaves who "entice" with slave heat, should be prepared to act upon such actions; teasing is not honorable or desirable in a slave unless they intend to use what they offer. Slave heat should NOT be used unless the slave truly wishes to "entice" the Free Person. If you show it, be prepared to use it.
